Issues surrounding “Sexting”

During assemblies this week year 7, 8 and 9 have focused on the issues surrounding ‘Sexting’, specifically youth produced sexual images. Creating and sharing sexual images of young people under the age of 18 is against the law and is of significant concern to families and those who support young people. The assemblies sought to enhance students understanding of the risks associated with sexting and where to seek advice and support.  Please discuss this topic with your child and find a range of useful websites below:
